Menomsyne Phrases was commissioned by Valaisia Brass Band for the 

Swiss National Brass Band Championship in KKL Luzern 2025.

 

In the ancient Greek myths Mnemosyne was the goddes of memory. 

She gave birth to the nine muses of art. Art is a result of the memory.

 

I write my music like I do because I remember "something".

Without remembering, without memories we can not create.

This piece is one example of how this works: musical memories tranformed 

through my creativity to become a piece of music.
